Isaiah is three. Margaret and her husband adopted him from a drug-addicted mother who couldn't care for him. Selma works on the East Side of Manhattan taking care of someone else's baby. She has gotten off drugs and now wants her little boy back.

Really good book. Tells the story of an illegal adoption of a black baby from a drug addict mother to white parents. Highly recommended.
