Juliet Blackwell is a great story teller, almost on par with Maeve Binchy. I enjoyed reading The Paris Key so I was certain The Lost Carousel of Provence would be enjoyable.

The story line moves between time lines in a smooth manner so you always know where you are in the story. It's a family story, which ironic as main character is an orphan without a family.
Cady Drake is an accomplished photographer who flies to Paris to take photos of carousels. She is intrigued by the story of the family carousel carved by famed Gustave Bayol. And so the adventure begins. Drama, intrigue, romance, travel; yes, all the ingredients for an enjoyable read.
