Collection of Anna Quindlen's columns over a 15-year period, covering everythng from rearing children to the political scene and everything in between. Many of the columns were written post-9/11 and Quindlen observes the huge changes in the American culture engendered by that event.

Anna Quindlen has an ability to communicate what we have in common in this country, and to put it into prose. She can say something fearlessly liberal but wears sensible brown shoes about it and never goes radical on you.
