lovely Brielle Le Fontin hated the Englishmen who made war on France while her beloved country endured the ravages of the Black Plague. Forced into an arranged marriage with Adam Dunbarton, the enemy's most powerful warrior, the defiant French noblewoman denied her bed to this rugged bridegroom with the shaggy dark-gold hair of a lion, the strength of an ox, and the manners of a boor.
The proud Dunbarton was enraged by his petite bride's disdain-and enflamed by her amber-eyed beauty. Traveling by his side from the devastated French coast to the majestic English court, Brielle began to see a side of her new husband she had never seen before...and she was startled by the warmth emerging beneath his headstrong warrior's ways. And as the glow of blossoming love began to soften their stubborn hearts, Adam's and Brielle's hot tempergave way to the flames of sweet desire...and Brielle was swept into a whirlwind of fiery passion that blazed on and on.

I was surprised by this book I had never read any of the authors books before but I was blown away by her imagination.
