This book was published in 1977 and compares favorably with the current crop of action adventure stories. This is a tale of vengeance of David Shaw against a syndicate's three bosses in Europe with all the strange twists and dangerous turns that lie along its route, especially with the sudden entrance into David's life of a lovely girl out of his childhood who is as obsessed with him as he is with his vendetta. The climax of that vendetta is as shocking and unexpected to David as it will be to the reader. A truly enjoyable read.
