Rocking the Lobster Boat: Cabot cove, Maine, is a quiet little community == perhaps too quiet. Although the town rofits from the lobster trade, tourists avoid the Main Street shopping district. The First Annual Cabot Cove Lobster Festival promises to change all that, with a three-day celebration featuring a crafts fair, a beauty pagent, and a feast provided by the town's lobstermen. Mystery author Jessica Fletcher will also contribute to the affair by penning a feature article about the lobstermen for the local newspaper.

Jessica finds that the lobstermen are a tight-lipped group when it comes to their business. Their arrangement with the town to provide enough lobsters for the festival has caused dissenion in their ranks. And when Jessica discovers one of them murdered, she must outwit a killer before she becomes the next catch of the day...

I usually like the books in the Murder She Wrote series. This book was barely just okay. The book was more about the Maine lobster industry. I thought it was very slow. It is not one of Fletcher's better books.

Actually, unlike the other review, I thought this book was pretty good as I stayed up late to finish it. And it's the closest to death "Jessica" has ever come.

Jessica Fletcher is pitching in to help Cabot Cove's first Lobster Festival by writing an article about the lifestyle of the local lobstermen. But instead of getting the story, she becomes tangled in a net of intrigue and murder. And she better sink her claws into this puzzling case-or she may find herself becoming the next catch of the day.
