I love this cookbook and use it several times a week! It is SO nice to be able to come home to a meal already prepared and ready to be eaten after work, or to wake up to a ready-to-eat hot breakfast before starting my busy day. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to save time in the kitchen, or to busy parents/people wishing they had more time to cook nutritious meals.

This is a great slow-cooker cookbook, for those who have to eat gluten free (as do I) and for those who don't. The recipes are easy to follow and to adapt (the author encourages creativity), and the relaxed format and comments following some recipes are fun.

I inherited a slow cooker from my mother-in-law and because I never used one before, searched the web for recipes. I stumbled upon the author's web site (A year of Slow Cooking) which details all the recipes in this book and started trying them. So far, every recipe has been easy and delicious. So good, that I purchased the book for myself. I've tried about a dozen of the recipes and with the exception of one (Candy Chicken - which came out too watery), all were huge hits. My family loved the Taco Soup and the Apricot Chicken. I'm very happy with this cookbook! And for those with allergies, these recipes are all gluten-free.
