This book really makes you think about family, the value of it and how to treasure it. These very personal true stories allow you to be a part of these families, and their emotions and memories. Suggestions for your family and recipes are peppered thru out the book. While some stories are very touching and nostalgic, others deal with pain in a family. One of the authors was raped as a young woman and feared facing her father. Other stories are very honest and open about difficult and hurtful times all families face. Not just a book with a bunch of stories. Truly insightful and inspiring.
