I had the "singles" version of this book for years and, in my opinion, it is one of the very best and most useful books on dating and marriage relationships that I have ever read. I consistently draw from and use the lessons and metaphors from the book in my everyday life, which is more than I can say for most books. Since I lost that copy and am now married (and was trying to get a copy to lend to friends having marriage issues), I decided to get the marriage version of the book. I find it pretty similar except for a couple of chapters, and I think the same good basic info is presented. It might be just because of my experience, but I think I preferred the singles version just a bit more.

My husband and I laughed our way through "Men are Like Waffles -- Women are like Spaghetti" and the contents transformed our marriage. It has always been good but in the last few years it's been GREAT (and we just celebrated our 54th anniversary).
We've met with young couples who wanted to know our "secret".
