This book is one of my all-time favorites. Lots of great humor and romance. A lot of great interaction between the two main characters that you normally don't get in romance novels. This was a wonderful story of forgiveness.

This is the first time I've read one of Denise Hunter's books. I absolutely loved this one because of the unexpected twists of the story. A great book on forgiveness for the most tragic of offenses.

I have mixed feelings about this book. On the positive side it shows the huge difference God can make in a sinner's life. Micah's life really illustrates "if any man be in Christ he is a new creature". On the negative side it gives TMI in explaining some of the incidents of his childhood. Specifically when he describes seeing his mother in bed with a man when he was a small child. It was too discriptive of that incident and it leaves you with a mental picture of the event. Also the heroine was too aggressive to me in her pursuit of Micah. She could have waited on God to reveal His plan to Micah first. I give this book 2.5 stars.

Very predictable, not the best writing style. I wasn't hugely impressed.
