This is Andrei's story (who we meet in Insatiable). I thought this worked well. Piper was a strong character who doesn't take shit and she accepts, loves her family (and Andrei) just as they are. The aggression with the Imperialists has escalated into war. Nice setup for Vincenz and Julian (and Hannah was Vincenz rescued in this one).
Futuristic tale. Hot, sexy; good storyline with strong but deeply flawed characters. Since this is book 2 of the phantom corps, you should read "Insatiable" first.
