This is your basic romance story, girl meets guy, doesn't like guy, marries guy. It is set in a town in southern Minnesota around the Christmas season. I enjoyed reading about the reaction to Lutefish and other tradtions of the area. This is a good book if you enjoy romances, I was disappointed that it did not give more detail of the area.

There are three stories in the one book. I enjoyed the first story, but really liked the second and third. The author is a little preachy, but not too much. Very sweet stories.
