So, what is it about Patricia Wentworth's novels? Some of them grab you from the first paragraph or sentence. Meanwhile, others are so boring in the first few chapters you wonder if the book is by the same author and why you are reading this pulp?

Then, without knowing just when, you are hooked and you have become "one with the book." You can't seem to put it down and you stay up late to finish it. This was my experience with "Miss Silver Deals with Death."
