This book keep me turning pages from the first page. Well written. This book is a realistic protrayal of how sometime families fall apart when tragedies of life happen. In this case a little baby boy is kidnapped while in the care of his older teen sister. The couple's marriage suffers a blow nearly ending and the teen daughter does not handle things well either. She blames herself but instead of talking it out she drives a wedge between her and her stepmother which really is the only mother she has ever known. The teen then does something drastic to try to make things right. I won't go into detail so as to spoil the story for people who have not read the book yet.

I hope this author writes more novels that are mystery/suspense. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

A very disturbing book. It is so very well written that you enter the lives of this family and share in their grief. It is too easy to imagine the feelings of a family with a missing child. The author really brings this home. I did find some of the story line unreal, but even that part was so well-written that you believed it when you were reading. Very intense.
