Ingrediens for Icing:
1 Stick butter, 3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa, 6 tbsp buttermilk, 2 tsp. vanilla, 1 lb. powdered sugar.
Grease large flat pan.
Bring to a boil - butter, crisco, water, cocoa & vanilla. Mix this with the dry ingredients. Add eggs & buttermilk. Bake at 350 for 25 min.
While cooking cake, prepare icing to be ready when cake is done. Keep cake in pan after baking. Use a toothpick to poke holes in the cake while hot. Put icing on cake while hot.
For Icing: Bring all ingredients except powdered sugar to a boil. Add this to powdered sugar. Pour over hot cake.
Put in refrigerator to cool and let icing set.
