I read this book many, many years ago, so long ago I can't remember details. But I remember loving it, that is why I hung on to it for so long. A great Indian love story. But I need to clear off my bookshelves...

This is a wonderful love story, but it ended without finding out the consequences of love
between an English woman and a Indian man. PBS has provided me with the 2nd book,(just requested it),called "Torn Covenants", which I intend to read as soon as it arrives. If it
is just half as good as this one,it will get a good review from me. I haven't been able
to find any other books written by Lois Swann, but if I ever do, I will try to acquire
them also!
