another good story from Sherryl Woods. It was less "steamy" from the books I have read lately but nonetheless a great plot and interesting characters. The ADD mention with one of the main characters began to wear alittle but it was done to bring awareness to this disorder. This book is worth the read, and continues with mention of previous characters from the series.
I like this series, but some of them are pretty repetitive, or drag on way too long. It was great to see Jess' romance though!
Welcome to Chesapeake Shores, where New York Times bestselling author Sherryl Woods weaves a world with compelling characters and heartfelt emotion.
Jess OBrien has overcome a lotthe challenges of attention deficit disorder, the near bankruptcy of her beloved Inn at Eagle Point and her self-perception as a screwup in a family of overachievers. Now shes ready to share the future with a man. Her friends persuade her to join a dating servicebut she gets no takers! Which is fine with her childhood friend, psychologist Will Lincoln, whos already chosen the perfect man for Jess: himself.
Will has loved Jess practically forever. He knows her faults and strengths. But for all Wills sincerity and charm, Jess fears he views her as some psychological case study. With her family and the town of Chesapeake Shores behind him, Will finally makes his case. But is it enough to convince Jess to take the risk of a lifetime?
A continuation of the chesapeake harbor series. An enjoyable read
I'd gotten behind on this series and hadn't read it for three years, so I had a hard time remembering all the relationships in the O'Brien family. Once it started coming back to me, this was an interesting double romance that all gets tied up neatly at the end. Great Valentine's Day read!
I had not heard of Cherryl Woods until recently when I picked up a book of her series Chesapeak Shores. The stores are good and I have enjoyed following the main characters in their lives. Good, quick read!
i truly enjoyed this bk. another one in the chesapeake series,as, each one is written about a different member of family
I really enjoyed this book!
