Wonderful story of falling from grace, picking yourself back up and learning to forgive again. Inspiring story of loving thru the hard times. If you love Nicholas Sparks, you'll love this one!

Abby & David Treasure of Jackson Hole, Wyoming seem to have everything: a perfect marriage, a perfect son, a perfect life. A phone call is about to change all that. Years before, David secretly had an affair and, although he never knew it, fathered a daughter. Now a voice from the past tells him the little girl is deathly ill and her only hope is a bone marrow transplant - from Abby & David's son.

Terrified of what the truth will do to his marriage, David hesitates to help. But a power greater than man's is at work here. With time running out to save the child's life, Abby will be given the chance to save her family...if she puts aside her anger, accepts the unexpected, and trusts her faith to lead her to forgiveness, redemption, and unwavering love.

David and Abby Treasure are enjoying the best years of their marriage when a voice from the past suddenly intrudes. David's former lover calls to say that their affair produced a child she never told him about. The little girl is dying of leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant from a family member-and only David and his son Braden are good candidates. As David and Abby deal with his infidelity, they must also come to grips with how they can assist his dying daughter. Each member of these two families struggles with hurt, betrayal, and confrontation, until each ultimately finds answers-and hope-in faith.

This is the first book that I've read by Deborah Bedford. It was a wonderful story, told with great description and feeling. As the characters examined their own lives and questioned their motives and decisions, I was also prone to do the same. It is a book of promise.
