This is a mystery cozy (I believe they are called) set in England in the late 19th century. It's a fast read and quite enjoyable.

I dearly love this series. The kindness, thoughtfulness, humour, fun, love and the way the characters interact and treat one another is wonderful. The mysteries are always good and sometimes hard to figure out. Look forward to the ones to come.

Emily Brightwell cannot write these books fast enough! This tale of Mrs. Jeffries continues to be a great read. It is one of the earlier books. If you haven't read Mrs. Jeffries yet, I highly recommend them.

This is an light, entertaining series which often baffles me as to the murderer is. However, I was able to ID the dastardly doer in this novel by the middle of the book. Still, while I didn't know the motive, I was quite pleased with myself. :-)
