a favorite series of my kids!!

from the back cover:
Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny used to live alone in a boxcar. Now they have a home with their grandfather, and they're visiting a Navajo reservation.
The Boxcar Children learn lots of interesting things about the Navajos-but best of all is the legend about an ancient Native American village that once existed nearby. Curious, the children begin digging there, and uncover some valuable artifacts. But it seems someone wants the village to stay buried!
