Byes: Kansas City and LA Rams Thursday, November 22
Is there some kind of law that mandates Detroit and Dallas play on Thanksgiving Day forever? :) Sunday, November 25
Monday, November 26

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Joy, not sure about Dallas, but I know that for some reason Lions agreed to play on every Turkey Day.

I see that Washington had to dredge up Colt McCoy as their quarterback today. If I read right, he hasn't played in the NFL since 2014. I think Troy Aikman could leave the broadcast booth for the day to play quarterback for them. I think they probably have him on speed dial. |

Dallas has played on Tgiving for a long time. At one time they were the only team that did it and then Detroit started doing it. The competition committee eventually decided it was not fair to have Dallas and Detroit play random teams so they decided to have the game be against teams in their division so the stress of a short week would be equally shared. I think Tex Schram an executive at the Cowboys had something to do with getting the Tgiving day game started. It was a way to put the Cowboys on national TV when their game was the only thing on. |

Dallas is going to have to play the Saints later this season. That will either be a close hard fought game or a huge blow out with the saints winning by a bunch of points. I think maybe a blowout is most likely. |
