Here is my list of Unpostables, and what is wrong with them.  I will gladly add one or two to any book order from my bookshelf.  If you have a kid in college, I will gladly make a 2-for-1 deal, including books off my shelf.  If you have two kids in college, I'll make a 3-for-1 deal.  If you have three or more kids in college, I will bow down and worship you!

My Unpostables.  Will include with any book from my bookshelf.

  • Master of Falconhurst (cover taped on. Book looks beat.  Then again, every copy I've ever seen from this series looks beat)
  • The BlackArrow by Robert Lewis Stevenson (hardback, tanned pages)
  • Merryvale Girls in the Country (hardback, just generally an old, used book)
  • Extra Kill by Dell Shannon (slightly tanned, well-used paperback)
  • One Foot in Heaven by Hartzell Spence (hardback, just generally an old, used book)
  • Roget's College Thesaurus (well-used paperback)
  • Deepwater by Matthew Jones (great condition. Advance Uncorrected Bound Galleys)
  • Here is Your War by Ernie Pyle (very beat up, but thought a veteran might like it)
  • Trapped in the Ice by Ruth Harden (kids book. Cover has wear/tears, but thought someone might be interested in it)
  • The Brady Bunch #3 Count Up To Blast-Down by William Johnston (beat-up cover)
  • The Key to Rebecca by Ken Follett (cover held on with tape)
  • Riverwind the Plainsman by Thompson & Carter (a Dragon Lance book. Cover is taped together)
  • The Peter Prescription by Dr. Lawrence Peter (can't find an ISBN number, from 1972)
  • Wind of Promise by Dorothy Garlock (pages are starting to fall out, as is the lady's chest on the front cover)
  • Fit for Life by Harvey & Marilyn Diamond (nothing wrong with it, too many copies posted & I want to get rid of it)
  • Proud Captive by Dianne Price (typical used book -- tannig pages, crease on cover, etc.)
  • Dawn by V.C. Andrews (cover taped)
  • The New Industrial State by John Kenneth  Galbraith (cover has seen better days, pages starting to tan)
  • Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls (stains on the top of some of the pages)
  • Love Story by Erich Segal (pages starting to tan)
  • Samantha by Angelica Aimes (pages starting to tan, some may fall out very soon)

I have a couple of Stevi Mittman books that I picked up at the FOL sale and didn't pay close enough attention to.  They are a bit wavy and looks like maybe the edges caught a bit of coffee or soda spill.  The inside are fine and quite readable, just a bit discoloration on the outside edges and a bit wavy.

I have Who's Number is Up Anyway ISBN-13: 9780373881390 ISBN-10: 0373881398  and Why is Murder on the Menu Anyway ISBN-13: 9780373881246 ISBN-10: 037388124X

Each free with an order off my shelf!

I have the following unpostable books available free below with an order from my shelf. Please only request one freebie with your order. PM me with your choice after you order something from my shelf. These are all in basically good condition but are just old or have some minor damage that makes them unpostable.

Dakota Born, Debbie Macomber (paperback) - ISBN 155166576x - spine is starting to cleave in the middle of the book.

Death Dance, Linda Fairstein (paperback) - small, very very minor stain on bottom corner of last 50 or so pages, looks like water... Does not interfere with reading at all.

Robin McNaughton's Sun Sign Personality Guide (softcover) ISBN 0553273809 - cleaved spine, pages not falling out yet.

Tarot: A New Handbook for the Apprentice (Connolly Tarot) ISBN 087877162X (softcover) - some highlighting in book.

Tarot: A New Handbook for the Journeyman (Connolly Tarot) ISBN 0878771247 (softcover) - some highlighting in book.

Tarot in Ten Minutes by R.T. Kaser - ISBN 0380766892 (softcover) - spine starting to cleave.

The Magical World of the Tarot by Gareth Knight ISBN 0850309409 - book is in good shape but has some cover wear and the glue is starting to wear out on the front cover. Book is still intact though.

Black Cat by V.C. Andrews - ISBN 0743428609 (paperback)- very small area on edge/top corner of the last few pages which does not interfere with reading; looks like it might be a little water damage. The rest of the book is great.

Child of Darkness by V.C. Andrews ISBN 0743493850 Small tear in lower corner of outside binding. Pages starting to cleave a little, but are intact.

The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks - ISBN 0446605239 (paperback)- Some of the first pages are a little "wavy" but I don't see any obvious water damage.

Hidden Prey by John Sandford - ISBN 0425199606 (paperback) - book is a little worn and is just starting to cleave a little. Pages are all intact.

How to Study the Bible for Yourself by Tim LaHaye - ISBN 1565076311 (paperback) - I got this book from another PBS member and when it arrived it had teeth marks in the cover (like from an animal) and underlining in pencil on various pages. This book is wishlisted too.

False Pretenses by Catherine Coulter ISBN 0451199685 - pages bent back like something heavy was on them (about the last 1/4 of the pages), otherwise in good shape.

The Non-Designers Web Book 2nd edition by Robin Williams and John Tollett ISBN 0201710382 - I used this book for a class and unfortunately I highlighted a couple of areas in the book. It looks like it's only about 2 or 3 pages. This book is in excellent condition otherwise.
