My NaNoWriMo name is elegantlion.  I've got my plot outlined and my characters all ready to go.  Got lots of coffee.  I homeschool my ds10 and he may get more "independent study" for November.

My current word count is 10,121.  I seem to have run out of steam though as I haven't even written 2000 words yet today :(

Finally broke 12k!

After I finish my readings for tomorrow's classes, it's back to writing.  Hoping to break 15k today!

My name there is Clawdee, but I'm so disapointed in myself! I havn't written one word! in fact, I have yet to add microsoft works to my computer yet *glomps self*

I'm at 8727 as of last night.  This is my first year as well.  I'm still in the "this is fun" stage, we'll see how that goes later in the month.

10:30 am - up to 10295 words.  I am working toward a gold medal in run on sentences, and random thought turned into mile long rabbit holes.

ok, so I'm up to 1700. Blah. I know I can write more then this. Maybe I should disconnect my internet...or maybe not answer my im's.....

Mine is categorized under mainstream fiction.  It's a conglomeration of several people and phases of my life all under the guise of fiction. Most of the people are made up but some of the events are real, which makes it easier to write on and on about.

I'm going with what I know best. Fantasy. I alway's loved the princess fairy talkes. Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid... and so on and so forth, esp. the Disney versions, but what I really like, is different versions of them. But reading differant versions is that, though they are differant books, it's like the same plot line, mostly the same names. They may have changed one or 2 things, but come on! If I wanted to read the same thing over and over I would.

So, I made my own. I've started with Beauty and the Beast. With the Not So Beauty, and the Not So Beast.

And, I'm keeping it in the family. Princess Christabelle is 1 of 6 siblings. Heck, I got all kinds of fairy tale princess' right there =D

I am up to 9223 words. I did not have time to write yesterday, but I have tomorrow off from work and hope to write most of the day! :) 

15321/50000 as of this morning.  OMG, I think this novel is taking on a life of its own.  It's not following any of my planned outlines.  I had to completely rethink where it is going this morning.

I know what you mean Paula. Seriously, how did I not know that the eldest princess has been sneaking off to the pub for the past 3 years with the stable hand? And without her siblings knowing?
