Interesting telling of the Old Testament's well-known story of Naomi and her beloved daughter in law, Ruth. Lots of cultural information about how the tribes of Israel gave birth, lived, went into battle, and died.
The back and forth in time from one chapter to the next could be a bit confusing, but a well-written tale none-the-less with thorough characterizations.

A must read for anyone interested in Women of the Old Testament.
