This was an awesome book, I read it in a day and loved it. You will probably need some tissue for reading this book but it ends with "Happily Ever After" which is important for me.

Need You Now is a contemporary work that most can relate to in their lives at some point. The characters are well-developed and the issues real. Darlene, mother of three, struggles with raising her teens. As a mother of teenagers myself, I can certainly relate. Is the issue a result of my parenting? Where did it all go wrong? You only want the best for your children and will do anything to ensure their happiness and security.

When Darlene takes a job for the first time in her marriage, outside of the home, it begins a rift in her marriage. Someone else has taken an interest in her and they are listening, something she hasn't had in awhile. With the youngest child, Gracie, really struggling with the move and some personal issues adding tension to the family and danger to herself, the whole family bond is stretched and it will take some faith and hope to put this family back together again.

A strong plot, heart-warming and issues that many can relate to or it could happen, Wiseman has written an engaging and emotional page-turner. I had a hard time putting this book now and the family out of my mind - highly recommend!!

This was a great story, but also dealt with many issues we deal with in life. When we lose faith it can be restored. Praise God

Beth Wiseman is widely known in the Christian fiction market and beyond for her amazing Amish fiction and now with this book, Need You Now, I have the feeling that she will gain notoriety with even more readers. I'm not usually one for fiction without romance but this book really grabbed me, so much so that I read it straight through in a day. Need You Know is not just a book about marriage but families and friendship as well as love and loss. I'm a twenty-something who has never been married but I found myself relating to almost every character in the book from working mom Darlene who is just looking for some independence to Grace, her teenage daughter who is trying to figure out how to deal with her life. If you are thinking that maybe that this isn't a book for you like I was at first definitely give it a try, you may be surprised. Anyone who is a Wiseman fan will definitely see her knack for bringing to life great characters who could be your neighbor down the street to life in this book. She definitely does not shy away from tough issues like cutting, infidelity, or loss of faith. This really is a book for any reader, even teens who like a good story.
