Not a paperback this is a hardcover book. It measures 11" x 11" and there is an indentation in the front cover which holds 10 small skiens of thread, the needle and needlepoint cloth. The first 48 pages of this book offer a full color introduction to needlecraft including a selection of project which will guide the user through basic skills to moe advanced techniques. It is designed for beginners ages 8 and up. Everything you need comes with the book. The price on back cover is $19.95. It was purchased for a gift but never given. It is brand new. It should go to someone who would like to try their hand at needlepoint or to teach a young child.
