I like Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Kristan Higgens, Susan Wiggs, Jennifer Cruise type authors. Emily Griffin is OK and Sophie Kinsella but read all those. Any new authors? I have some credits to use........please help. Thanks

Try Linda Lael Miller.  Her heroines are strong, feisty, and funny!  Also, Lori Foster is a Jennifer Cruise type author.  You might enjoy her.

You guys both got me. I like Linda Lael Miller and Lori Foster. Kendra, I ordered something from each of those except Laura Wright - not a vampire fan, but the rest look great. THanks so much for taking the time and recommending to me!!  Oh yea, I couldn't find anything by Jill Shalvis that wasn't in a 3 book book, did she do anything on her own? thanks,

Laura Wright has a cowboy trilogy....Branded I think is the first one.  Sorry I had not realized she was also Paranormal..which I find amusing since I do read vampires and such..will have to look into them.

Try typing Jill Shalvis Lucky Harbor   there are a lot of books in that series and I enjoyed all of the ones I have read.   Instant Attraction, Instant temptation and Instant Gratification are good,  Also enjoyed her Animal Magnetism series.

I second Jill Shalvis. She has a boatload of stuff that is on it's own.

How about Carly Phillips, Susan Mallery, Julia London?

Rachel Gibson is similar to the authors you mentioned. Contemporary romance with some humor thrown in.

Two authors that don't get mentioned much but both are GREAT writers of romance/fiction:  Jo Goodman and Judith Ivory.   I am always taken with the quality of the characterizations and storytelling when  I read their books.

Carly Phillips is another author that writes similar books to some of the ones mentioned. Maybe Sherryl Woods or Robyn Carr.
