The author's original Passages was a ground-breaking book about the stages of adulthood, engagingly written. This newer updated version is terrific as well - easy to read and very insightful, no matter what stage of womanhood you are in.

I read this book because I was privileged to hear the author speak about the time it came out. She has a very special gift for analyzing the past and seeing our futures. In today's work world where we hear about generational conflict, Ms Sheehy was talking about those unique generational features a decade ago. Her message is timely and timeless. I enjoyed it then, refer to it often, and believe you would enjoy it also. There were many "aha" moments for me when I read "New Passages".

I found this book insightful and very helpful with many ideas and powerful concepts. Some paragraphs I had to read a few times to get the full picture but, once gotten, a few "ah-ha" moments for me as well.

Nice book and a great read.
