Another excellent scary book from John Lutz. Serial killer's victims from different areas of the country go unsolved until one of them turns out to be the daughter of Ezekiel Cooper (Coop)an NYPD cop who won't stop hunting for his daughter's killer. Well-done as are all of John Lutz's books.
This is a very thrilling book as are the other two in this series.
This is a good read. A smart serial killer, a dedicated ex-cop whose daughter is one of the victims, an avaricious author whose sole interest is getting a book out of this case and the sister of another victim who sets herself up as bait. The characters are believable.
When he stumples his own daughter's corpse in a deserted beach front bungalow , devasted Ezakiel Cooper vows to find her murderer. What the formwer NYPD detective does not know is that there has been other victurms. Women in Queens, Sarastoga, and Settle, who seemly have nothing in common, aside from a grisrly fate at the hands of chillingly clever stranger.
Bent on unmasking the shadowy culprit, Coop soon croses paths with Carla Callahan, who is deturmined to lure her sisters killer by transforming herself into someone just like her sister. By changing her appearance, her job, even her routein, Carla's plan may be working to well. Lurking in the shadows, just as Coop feared, the elusive serial killer know as the night caller watches her every move...preparing to bounce again.

really good book
this is one author that hasn't disappointed me yet---the story starts out to get your interest right off and it doesn't let up, it is probably just the right length so that it doesn't get hung up on too much description and not enough story, but it keeps right on going and you won't know who done it until nearly the end----just keep reading!!
This was a great book that had lots of interesting twists in it. It was a page-turner that had you anxious right up to the end. It's the first I've read by this author, but I'll definitely be looking for more.
