I love love love love love this book series. We're back with the D'Artigo sisters and once again we're focusing on Delilah. I hope this is a long running series and it looks like it really could be! It's hard to go into much to describe the book without completing revealing some incredible spoilers. For those of you who have never read this book series...I recommend starting with the first one if you can. I have actually managed to read this IN ORDER!! (I'm so excited.) If you can't then just pick up a book and go back to the other's for details and plotline to catch up to speed. You won't be overly lost jumping in wherever. However, for those of you who HAVE been following the series, we get a development with the Autumn Lord (remember, 's Delilah's a Death Maiden now, and this book focuses on her) that knocked me for a loop! Major news on the Trillian storyline, but alas we don't actually see HIM this time around. Karvanak's back...and it's BAD. The "Triple Threat" are setting up court Earthside and have a meeting with Queen Asteria. AND OH MY GOSH!! You won't believe what happens with CHASE!!!!! I wanted to kick him! Then kick her for saving him! Then kick him again for general purposes! But *sigh* alas, they overcome a lot, I didn't want to completely kill him off in the end, and was even glad they managed to...oops, I promised not to spoil anything. But I CAN say that things take a nice turn with Zachary and I am anxiously anticipating how THAT's going to play out.

Anyway, you gotta read this book and I can't wait for the next one. If Yasmine follows the pattern, we'll be focusing on Menolly and I'm REALLY anxious to see if she back tracks and gives us more of an inside scoop on what is going on with her and Roz.

ENJOY!!

The Otherworld series keeps interesting stories about strong kick butt sisters whose super magical powers keep improving with every book. This story adds a forehead kiss that has some surprises. These stories are best if you start with the first before reading the 5th.

I enjoy Yasminee Galenorn's writing in the Otherworld series. I feel she's created quite well-rounded and interesting characters in an engaging world of Fae and Human interactions. The pacing is good, encouraging the reader to keep turning pages.
This volume focuses on Delilah and her coming to terms with more of her werecat aspects/instincts, and her relationship with Full-Blooded Human police detective Chase vs her werepuma suitor Zachary. Kitten's growing up. While I'm far from being a prude, I find the sex scenes to be quite explicit and not always a necessary inclusion in the story; I could take them or leave them, but I suspect there are other readers who revel in those scenes. S'alright by me, whatever floats your boat. Happy reading!
