If you liked The Prince of Tides or Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood.....you will love this book. It is a novel about a dysfunctional Southern family in Alabama. A powerful, stunning story....there's a myster here, and a murder. But the real story, the heart of the matter, is family.

This was an unexpected treat. George interweaves the past with the present in this story of a family dealing with the death of a loved one. A nice surprise!
