I loved this book... i read it in one sitting.... it was so touching Lily and carter meet each other when she goes to see him b/c her business is being audited (he is an accountant) and immidiatly sparks begin to fly... However, they try to fight it since it is a business relationship but have a mighty hard time doing so... They also have many obstacles standing in the way of their romance - carter has a 17 year old daughter he has never met, and he is afraid to tell Lily about her in fear that she will make the wrong assumptions as to why he isnt in his daughters life....... Meanwhile Lily is spending all her free time (when not tending to her business) caring for her sisters baby daughter; and as her sister keeps extending the date that she is supposed to return to pick up her daughter Lily begins to wonder if that day will ever come....and if that is the case will Carter jump in to a relationship with a ready made family (and child that isnt his) And in the middle of it all Carters mother is trying to play matchmaker between the two of them which of course the both of them resent ----- will all of these factors going on in their lives bring them together and make their relationship stronger or will it just lead to disaster???
