I have read most everything Jasmine Haynes has written, but this book surprised me.
While it was definitely very steamy, as I expected from Ms. Haynes, it was also very emotional as the husband and wife individually struggle to overcome the guilt resulting from their tragedy and deal with threats to their business.
The main characters were developed to the point where I could identify with them both throughout the book. However, it was difficult for me to balance the deep emotions this book provoked with the steamy scenes.
I normally end up keeping most of Ms. Haynes books, but I find that I am not compelled to keep this one at all. While it is definitely a very well-written story, I just can't imagine wanting to go through this struggle again.
