This is the second book in a series of prehistoric inhabitants of North America. At times it is a little wordy, but overall I enjoyed it very much.
All the books in this series are an excellent read, good story and lots of anthropological information. Each book stands alone but also continues a good storyline.

The authors are professional archaeologists, but the characters are vivid.
I really liked this book. I am into all of the O'Neal and Gear books. I love reading about the ice age and the time before time.
This series was a bit dry, but enjoyable all the same.
