good fun, romantic read. Very Samantha from sex in the city settings.
Well, well. I was not expecting the book to be about the world of opera, an area about which I know little and don't really care all that much, either. But Miranda is an endearing heroine, whose situations don't exactly transcend the world of opera but are universal nonetheless. Burke does another fine job with her characterizations, I feel like I know all the everyone personally, from Grace and Fern and Betty, to Pat and Tina. Worth the time!
