This is another book written by Chris Enss, who has written a number of books about the Women of the West. Here are 3-4 pages each about some of the notorious "madams" of the West back in the mid 1800s until the early 1900s. Some of the women chosen had rather elaborate houses of iniquity and a number of beautiful girls for patrons. I was surprised to read about Big-Nosed Kate, who had a thing for the legendary Doc Holliday. There are a few pictures included. If you want to read something about those "ladies", do pick this book up and I am sure you will enjoy it. My only desire was for more stories! Also check out her other book "That Lady is a Gambler" as I enjoyed that book, too.
