I have just finished reading the daughters of the promise series and really loved it!
I can't wait until April 2010 when her next book in the series will be out. Each novel follows an individual's journey into an Amish Community where they discover the meaning to the words faith, hope and love. I would definitely recommend this series. This book is #3.

I enjoyed this book about the Amish and an englisher in love, but thier faith is keeping them apart. A lesson on money can not buy you happiness.

Well, I thought when reading this it was the final book of 3 in the series, "Daughters of the Promise". Apparently, there is a 4th book, "Plain Paradise" arriving in March or April 2010. I am so glad the saga continues. Beth Wiseman writes so eloquently about the Amish. As I mentioned in some other reviews of her books, she is up there with the best of the Amish fiction authors. For this third book, Sadie Fisher takes the forefront as the lead character along with newcomer, the renter, Kade Saunders. The other characters are reintroduced and round out the story well. Very quick read for me!
