Four of the 6 books on which the astonishing reputation of James Joyce is fouded are reprinted her ein their entirety. A Portrait of the Artist as a Young man, his classic autobiographical nobel, has been seset in the new difinitive text, corrrected from the Dublin Holograph in 1964. Dubliners, his olume of short stories, has been reset in the definitive 1968 text, restoring Hoyce's manuscript style and his late corrections. the others are collected Poems including Chamber Music, plus 2 "uncollected" poems, and Exiles, his only drama. In additoin, ther is a generous smapling from Ulysses and Finnegan's wake,. including the famous "Anna Livia Plurablle" epidsode. Professor Levin has provided a reappraisal of Joyce, a preface to each of the works and a bibliography.
