This book describes the history of the Charles Bridge, which was built in 1406 and crosses the Vltava River, in Prague. The bridge holds 30 statues (all of saints and heroes) spanning the entire length on each side, plus a statue on one of the piers. Included in the book is a brief biography of each saint or hero as well as color photos of the statues. Quick read - only 111 pages long.
