I was notified yesterday that a book I had wishlisted was available. I clicked on the link and it said I would have to purchase credits.  I knew I had a credit available, so I checked my account.

It shows I received the a certain book twice, thus using up my extra credit.  I have attempted to let someone know and have not received any response so far.  Any suggestions as to how I can get my account straightened out in time to get the book I wishlisted??

Use the contact us link below and wait for an answer.  Sometimes it takes awhile.

Or, you could buy just a few credits from a member who has some extra ones. Sometimes members will sell their extra credits at a rate that is less than the cost in the PBS Kiosk.

The PBS team gets a LOT of feedback every day, and it does take them some time to get through all the questions they receive.

But you can use the credit I just "gifted" you for the book since I see you are a fairly new member! Enjoy! Welcome to PBS!

Wow, you all are so generous!! 

I am overwhelmed at how many members jumped right in and gave me credits!!  Last night, thanks to Cozette, I was able to get my book.  Then this morning when I checked my email, I found I was "rolling in credits"!!  :))


The Librarian emailed me and said I needed to contact the member that I gave credit for mailing a book who had not actually sent one.  I will be more careful in the future, that's for sure!

This whole thread made me smile this morning!   What a fun thing to see - that we all didn't want a new member to be disappointed by not getting a wishlisted book so we just gave her credits.   What a generous group there are on PBS.  Kinda renews my belief in people this morning.

That is so true Cozette! 

Julie J. gave me a credit too, and I cannot find her to thank her.  I wanted to add her to my buddy list, but she is not registered.  So, Julie if you see this, please accept my thanks and do send me a PM if you feel like it.

And Vada.. you did not have to return the credit to me. But, in the future if you ever need a credit you can ask me for one!

Just wanted to let you know that after I contacted the member who owed me a credit, she realized what had happened and returned that credit to me.  I was just notified this morning.

I learned what a great group of book readers we have here, and I am impressed with the honesty and generosity I have seen here too!  I am totally sold on PBS!!!
