This story seemed to be a little darker than the others I've read by Snelling. Andrew, one of my favorite characters, has grown up and he's not like the sweet little boy anymore. The book moves quickly along through his frustrations and finally to a breaking point. Ellie hangs in there trying to see the good in those around her and I think she's another example of the fine women who helped shape our country.

Another wonderful story from Snelling full of challenging and joyful pioneer situations and emotions. Christians will love the messages these folks focus on of all things being possible with God's help. This book is full of courage and hope as are all books in this series of these hardy, fun, and loving people.

Lauraine Snelling is one of my favorite Cristian authors and she does not disappoint me in this first book of Daughters of Blessing. I have followed the Bjorklund family through trial and error, joy and tribulation and becoming richer in my belief just as they have. This story of a young couple with their doubts has enriched my life as well.

L. Snelling never disappoints as she winds the stories of this family throughout the generations. A Promise for Ellie is another great book, full of real life.

This book is the beginning of an excellent series about the second generation of young women in a small town in North Dakota called Blessing. Lauraine Snelling did her research for these books! This book takes you into the life of a young man and woman who desperately want to start their life together as a married couple, but they must learn to trust God with everything - even postponing the wedding that they've already waited for years to experience. I love this series, but I would reccommend reading Red River of the North first. It sets the scene.

What a wonderful continueing story of the Bjorklund family. Thier Love and trust in God in all situations. A story of how God brngs us to a place where we need to learn to turn everything over to Him, and trust Him to help us grow into a better person. Love this family! Keep writing Lauraine Snelling about the The Town of Blessings.
