I have read this book, and have bought it several times. This book brought me back to my church. Reminding me that I am who I am because I believe in GOD not in man. I try to keep a copy on hand, because every one of them I lent to someone has not been returned. It can make a huge difference in lives that experience doubt and moral anguish about the happenings in the churches today.
My husband received this book from the U.S. Army Chaplain before deploying to Iraq & Kuwait for the Army. He started and led a study group in Kuwait. I studied the book with a group at church during the same time. While John was away for the 12 months, and I was at home single-parenting four small children. Being grounded in God's purpose for us, made the difficult experience a learning opportunity for us. We grew closer to each other and our loving, purposeful God! It gave this difficult time-period, and every day since, meaning and purpose. God loves you and has a purpose for you! Learn more about His love and purpose from this book!
