Very entertaining! I enjoyed the story, and actually laughed out loud at some parts. A very good read; if you like stories with Q, or with Deanna's mother, then you'll love this. Well worth the read.

My Fave ST:TNG book ever. If I could keep this forever, I would.

Funniest and well written book ever. I just so love the interaction done between Q, Picard, Luxanni, and Troi.

I so wish this was made into an episode before they went off the air. That would probably earned them 500 emmy awards! That's how good I think the book is!

From the back:

When two powerful rival families of the spacefaring merchant race called the Tizarin are to be joined through the marriage, the USS Enterprise is chosen as the site for the wedding. Though Captain Picard is pleased by the happy duty, his pleasure is cut short by the arrival of the Federation delegate from Betazed: Lwaxana Troi- the mother of the ship's counsellor, Deanna Troi.

Hilarious (if you find Q and Lwanxana Troi amusing). My favorite Star Trek book ever.

I usually thoroughly enjoy the Star Trek books, and this one is no exception. It was extremely interesting to watch the interaction between these two wonderful "foes" of Enterprise.
