The second part of a trilogy wherein Q and the Enterprise crew deal with an enemy from his past that puts Q's power to shame. Takes place after the end of the tv series. One of the better novel stories.

This is the second book in a three book cycle that starts in the book Q-Space and finishes in Q-Strike. This trilogy shows Q as a young omnipotent being loose in the universe. He befriends another being that has a bad influence on the young Q and causes several problems for the universe. This story is about Q coming to terms with the mistakes he made as a petulant youth and correcting what he once did wrong.

Very strong storytelling and a great Star Trek tale to boot. Lots of Q action and information. Definitely worth the read. This book also ties into the original series in a clever way. If you like Q and the Next Generation books, give this trilogy a try.
