Some of these are: Mahabharata, Ramayana, Vedas, Puranas, Bhagavad Gita, Book of Dzyan, Egyptian Book of the Dead, Gilgamesh, Eddas, Bible, Book of Enoch, Secrets of Enoch, Popul Vuh, Emerald Tablets of Thoth, Forgotten Book of Eden, Lost Books of the Bible, Book of Jasher, and Book of Mormon. The ancient people of India, Tibet, Kashmir, Atlai, China, Mongolia, Siberia, Japan, Russia, Lithuania, Hungary, France, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Holland, Britain, Ireland, Switzerland, Persia, Iran, Africa, Greece, Rome, Caucasia, the Incas, Mayas, and Aztecs, each sang or wrote about it. But how reliable are these sources and how real is this phenomena? Madame Helena P. Blavatsky, the greatest mystic of recent centuries, calls it "Meru, the Imperishable Sacred Land, the Unreachable Continent of the Gods, Fortunate Island", or "White Island". Although the initiates of the mystery schools were aware of the existence of this sacred land, it is spoken of only in "blinds". It has been held as one of the greatest esoteric secrets, "lest it be found and desecrated by the profane".
