Following college, bored with middle class life, the heroine takes up the cause of rehabilitating criminals. she gets so good at emphasizing their situation that she begins to assimilate it. Oh, there is a weird love angle mixed in, as well as an O. Henry twist. No deep reading here, merely a pleasurable read in the vein of Wodehouse.

Clever story about a bad boy and a good girl, or are they? Alternating chapters told by each one. Quick read but good story.
