I am an almost full time R.V.er and would like to know how PBS is handled by anyone that travels.

Hi, Juanita ...

I've never been to this Forum before, so was surprised to find you here! We've been fulltimers for 3 years + 4 months, and have just completed visiting all 49 continental states this week! We travel most of the year, wintering somewhere warm.

We are fortunate to have relatives across the US who will accept books for us. I have to make sure to change our address with PBS each time, but it works well if we're stopping by to visit them. We send most books to our DILs, and if I really want them, I'll have them sent along with our mail next time we stay somewhere long enough for a Priority Mail box to reach us on the road. Costs no more than getting our "real" mail that way.

There are several mail forwarding services that will do the same for you. Escapees is the largest and best-known, I think. They charge $200 a year, I believe, and you can tell them to forward just 1st class mail, just the books, etc. each time you give them a new address. (We pay our DIL's something plus the cost of postage to do it for us.)

There are several of us RVers at PBS. Would love to hear more from you and how you're working it!
