Large on distressing stories and small on useful advice. I am the mother of an active two year old son, and this did not give me much insight. Perhaps if I had a troublesome, withdrawn teenage son, this book would make me feel like I was not the first parent to suffer those frustrations... but it still wouldn't help me know what to do about it.
