Three hot novellas about women in danger and the men rescuing them bring together authors Cherry Adair, Lora Leigh, and Cindy Gerard. My favorite is Lora Leigh's "Atlanta Heat" where Navy SEAL Macey March kidnaps Em Delaney back from terrorists and keeps her prisoner to keep her safe. All three stories are a fun read.

A great triple threat book! You'll love how quick the stories move and how much they move you. Read one a night - or be a hog like me and read all of them at one sitting :) I can't get over how similar each storyline was yet how completely different each author attacks the romance and action scenes - You won't get bored, I can promise that much! 5 Stars!

Three great heros. HOT! Love Lora Leigh and the Tempting SEALS series. The other two stories were really good too. Cherry Adair - Small town doctor kidnapped from a medical convention in Africa. Special Ops trainer goes in to get the woman he's been fantasizing about. Cindy Gerard - Asst DA & Detective teamed together for a charity hike/scavengar hunt in the Grand Canyon. Family of man they put away come to kill them.

This is my second or third anthology book that I have read so far. I don't think I particularly like this sort of book. As with other reviews, the stories are too short to be able to have any substance to them. The authors are obivously limited to how many pages they can write, and that doesn't leave much room for a captivating story. I guess if you are looking for a quick read while waiting in an airport or something, it would be perfect. Being that I have only read one of the three authors before, I was hoping to get a taste of the other two, and see if I like them enough to read any of their other works.

Adair was an author that was recommended to me prior to getting this, but if this is any indication of how she writes, I don't know that I would purchase any of her other books. I may swap, as a last resort. I am coming to understand that romance novels are for just that, romantic entertainment - I just can't get into many of them because of the "yeah, right, like that would have really happened." Especially when it is an adventure romance.

Leigh's is typical Leigh...as much sex as she can cram into the 100+ pages, with little room left for a story. I guess it is a good continuation to her Seals saga, I haven't read any of the other in the series yet. I do have the other books, and they are on my list to read.

Gerard's is the first I have read or even heard of her. The story was more of an action/adventure story with a romance flavor. It wasn't bad...just a lot "softer" than the other two. I may give her another try too, if I ever see her books on a member's list that I am already ordering from.

Hot anthology with thress similar stories. A small town doctor is kidnapped by a maniac wanting a new face and rescued by a hometown "boy" who happens to teach survival techniques to the military. An admiral's goddaughter is kidnapped and rescued by a Navy SEAL. And finally, an assistant DA and detective are kidnapped by a crazed drug lord. Quick easy read. 3.75 stars

THIS BOOK HAS 3 STORIES BY THREE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS:

CHERRY ADAIR: "TROPICAL HEAT" THE BAD GUY KIDNAPPED A DOCTOR THAT HE THOUGHT WAS A GIFTED PLASTIC SURGEON, SHE WAS NOT, THEY TOOK HER BY ACCIDENT, HER AND HER COMPANION HAD TO ESCAPE AND GET THROUGH A JUNGLE TO GET AWAY FROM THE BAD GUYS AND THEY FOUND THEMSELVES FALLING IN LOVE WHILE TRYING TO GET AWAY. GREAT STORY.

LORA LEIGH: "ATLANTA HEAT" MASON "MACY" MARCH IS THE GOOD GUY AND HE PLAYES WITH FIRE WHEN HE GETS INVOLVED WITH HIS SUPERIOR'S GOD DAUGHTER, THEY THEY END UP TOGETHER AT HIS HIDE OUT WITH HIS PET SNAKE WHICH JUST LIVENS THINGS UP, THEY OF COURSE FALL IN LOVE AND THE BAD GUYS GET CAUGHT AND ALL IS WELL.

GINDY GERARD "DESERT HEAT" IS ABOUT THE COP AND THE ASSISTANT DA. THEY GO ON A SCAVENGER FOR CHARITY, AND ENDED UP TOGETHER, THEY FIND OUT THAT ONE OF THE CASES SHE TRIED, THE GUY WAS KILLED AND HIS FATHER THREATENED TO GO AFTER HER IF THIS HAPPENED, THE NEXT THING THEY ARE RUNNING FOR THERE LIVES, AFTER MUCH GUN FIGHT, FALLING IN A RIVER, ETC THEY FALL IN LOVE AND FINALLY GET OUT OF THE GRAND CAYNON .

The first two stories were really hot & sexy - the third one lukewarm. This was perfect to read on a long car ride because each story is about 120 pages - just enough to finish in a couple of hours and then take a break. Would be a good beach read - you don't need to concentrate too much. I enjoyed it.

All three stories are good, but Lora Leigh's "Atlanta Heat" was my favorite. But then I'm a BIG fan of her books. It ties in with her Navy Seals series. It can be read alone although it does make several references to characters in previous books.

The stories in the book were just kind of ordinary. They were entertaining but I did not feel like I couldnt put the book down. Would recommend to someone who wants quick stories for some entertainment.
