I love Miss Read! I am reading them again for the 3rd time. She takes you back to a simpler time and introduces you to memorable characters,of which you end up feeling like family in the village town of Thrush Green. A must read both her series, "Fairacre" and "Thrush Green". So pour your self a cup of tea and get a few biscuits (cookies) and make yourself comfortable to laugh and cry! Love it!
